As you can see from Team Orange's web assessment styles page, there are many, many different types of assessments. I am not going into detail of the different types of assessments avaliable. Rather than discuss tests being the only objective assessment, I want to discuss the most important objective of all, the fact that the students will learn things to apply and help them in their real life. Watching these students apply content from the classroom into their speeches or their artwork. See students take investigate their interest to extend their knowledge or use their information in their career, is the ultimate assessment. We as teachers often focus so much on scores and standards that sometimes we need to step back and look at the big picture to remember that the student is the most important, not just a grade.

Keoni,
I absolutely agree! You have definitely given the response that covers it all.
